About Me
Rev. Robert Wilson, LMHC, is a clinical counselor and ordained pastor. Before Robert answered the call of God, he owned and ran an investment company in the city of Providence for many years. He received a BA in Theology from Zion Bible College, and he also earned an MA in New Testament studies and an MA in mental health counseling, both from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Robert has served as a pastor and was elected to serve as chaplain to the police and fire departments of Dighton-Rehoboth, as well as the town’s board of select men.

Robert’s experience on both sides of the counseling relationship, as a counselor and as a counselee, has helped him develop a unique method of counseling which synthesizes empathy, education, experience and excellence. Robert is personally vested in his clients and treats each one with dignity, compassion, value, and esteem. Because each client is a unique individual, he caters treatment accordingly. Robert’s motivation is to help people become emotionally healthy individuals so that they can develop into the best possible version of themselves.
Rev. Robert believes
“The counselor who cares, is
the counselor who heals.”
